SUCCESS STORIES

Hear from teachers...

My favorite part of the grammar resource was literally listening to you explain how to use the materials. Honest and real.

I didn't think I could integrate grammar into my classroom (I can, and you gave me a couple of choices). I thought I would be lost.

I bought the material for Volume One at the beginning of the school year but just haven't used it. I wasn't lost - but I did need your explanations to better utilize what I purchased. I'm eager to go back in and try.

I almost want to try it all in one day! I also thought I would never use the interactive notebook, but now I am thinking about it.

This is a great way to get grammar in our middle school ELA classrooms - right now, there is NO grammar, so this is something!!! I also liked that you shared your increased test scores.

-LESLIE SNYDER

Since I’ve been building the curriculum for my two subjects this year, I can’t tell you how this makes my life easier!!!

Between CoVid and our region’s economic & EL issues, my students are nowhere near grade level for reading/writing. They aren’t ready for a full-on grammar lesson, and I’m not teaching ELA this year, but Newspaper and Yearbook.

They need to be able to write, but I must reach them where they are. Using mentor sentences allows me to create/do mini lessons using resources that are already part of our routine… it doesn’t feel like I’m adding work.

I love that your well-thought-out plans have multiple available options but that I do not have to learn multiple sets of resources.

It’s well worth the investment to see how you integrated the activities into your classroom and that the variety of implementation options is outstanding.
