Character Traits Interactive Notebook Unit

This resource includes a reading unit to teach character traits to middle school students. This character traits reading unit includes, reading response examples, mini lessons, interactive notebooks pages, genre reading posters, rubrics, and assessments.

As an upper grade teacher, I often find that I assume my students have an understanding of literary information like character traits. My 5th-8th graders tend to have a basic and simple understanding of things like character traits, but I want them to really be able to analyze and dig deep into these concepts and that is the reason for these types of units.
