Back to School Stations

During your first weeks of back to school with students, you and students can have fun reviewing classroom procedures, setting up classroom materials, and getting comfortable in the classroom while building a community of readers and writers in your middle school ELA classroom.

Download a preview >>HERE<<.

This resource includes 12 different editable station options for back-to-school to take the monotony out of those first weeks. As the teacher, you can stop talking to your new students for days and days, and your students will pay attention as the week goes on.

Here's what's included:
  • Twelve different editable full-page PowerPoint slide stations
  • Twelve different editable 1/2 page PowerPoint slide stations
  • Ten different editable forms/resources to use at the stations (example from my classroom, but can be edited).
  • Ten different other forms and resources to use at the stations (many resources taken from my other resources sold in my TpT store.
  • Twelve different pre-made station numbers
  • Twelve different editable station numbers

All text in the twelve stations has been left editable so you can adjust it to your classroom needs. Each station takes groups of students 10-20 minutes. I spend the first week of school doing these stations with my seventh and eighth-grade ELA students.

This resource includes the following stations and all necessary materials, but they are all completely editable
  1. Procedure Syllabus Scavenger Hunt 1 + editable syllabus template
  2. Procedure Syllabus Scavenger Hunt 2 + editable syllabus template
  3. Preparing and organizing English notebooks + editable notebook tabs
