So sorry for the issues with the codes! It’s all an internal automated function, so only you get your codes. We can’t even access them. We have a few members who occasionally have the issue, and Kajabi (where we host the membership) says they’re probably going to spam, or it looks good on our end. It just seems to be an occasional fluke. It could be strong filters. It could be a spam or promotions issue. We don’t have a way to fix it besides just granting you the resources, which we don’t mind doing. Let us know what resources you’d like by emailing [email protected].

Yes, of course! We try to give you a few weeks to update your payment, and your access will remain. If, for some reason, your card wasn't updated before you lost access and your payments have been canceled, email us at [email protected], and we can help you sign up with a new card.

When your payments fail, we will send you multiple automated emails and reminder emails to fix the payment method on file. 

To fix the payment method follow these steps:

• After logging in, click on the Customer Avatar in the top right corner of the page.
• Then, select Settings from the dropdown.
• Click Billing Info in the top right corner of the page.
• Click Update next to the currently listed credit card.
• Complete the prompt to enter the updated card information.
• Then, click Update Card to apply and keep the changes

If the payment fails three times, your membership will be canceled, and you will lose access to your resources.

There are two possible answers. 

1. The main menu bar at the top is designed specifically for Hub members who only have the subscription service. If you are a Masterful Mentor Text Curriculum Member or have purchased one-off resources or workshops, those mene bars won't work for you. Everything related to your purchase can be found under the "Resource Library" menu item.  

2. You may have accidentally created two accounts, and you're logging into one that isn't attached to your membership. If you think that might be the case, email us at [email protected].

So sorry about that. This happens every once in a while, especially on school servers. 

First, try a different browser, flush your DNS, clear your cache, and, if possible, try on a different network.

If none of these work, then email us at [email protected] with your IP address, the Cloudflare Ray ID at the bottom of the error message page, and your location! We will escalate this to Kajabi.

We always recommend downloading what you want before canceling. If you ever reinstate your membership, we will reinstate those products. Please use the email address associated with your current account. 

If you cancel your membership, you will have one month to download any resources in your library. After one month, they will no longer be available. Volume One: Interchangeable for 7th and 8th grade. If you teach both grades, I recommend volume two for eighth grade and volume one for seventh grade simply because volume two has more young adult novels.

You don't NEED both, but some teachers like both.

I recommend always using a reading unit (i.e., realistic fiction) as your main unit and teaching all those lessons. Then, only use the novel study unit (i.e., Freak the Mighty) if YOU (as the teacher) need help with the novel, especially if you're unfamiliar with the novel. 

The grammar INB bundles are the interactive notebook lessons pulled from the corresponding mentor sentence volumes. They teach similar grammar concepts but have different templates. Both are not necessary if you only teach one grade level. 

No, and I will never make them. Philosophically speaking, we shouldn't be teaching kids the books. We should be using books as a tool to teach kids to think critically, write analytically, and teach them skills.  

If you need grades, I encourage you to use the reading responses and Socratic Seminar interpretive questions alongside the included rubrics to assess your students. They have to comprehend the books to answer those questions
